Adona diamonds came into life 20 years back when a young professor from Kerala had a dream to bring a glint of sparkle into people’s lives. Molly Babu gave birth to the idea of bringing bespoke diamonds to Kerala with select customers operating right from her home. From building a manufacturing unit to sourcing conflict free diamonds and thenceforth building long lasting relationship with each and every customer, this ingenious took the customized jewellery business to a whole new level. Light a Bespoke fire with Adona! With accomplished jewellery designer and Molly’s daughter, Nileena taking over, Adona today is poised for growth with a younger generation at its helm. With two stores in Kerala and many more to come, every iconic piece created at Adona is crafted to perfection and at the same time reflective of the style statement that each and every customer would like to adorn. Adona’s designer Nileena grew up watching her mother create exquisite diamond jewellery for her customers and has always been fascinated by it. She did her Engineering in Computer science and earned an MBA from Loyola Institute of Business Administration. Her foray into professional life commenced with AC Nielson before she decided to pursue her dream. Having spent her childhood years being beside her mother as she was breaking ground of her new business, Nileena always had intrinsic understanding of the business. This accompanied by her love for style and design pulled her back to the field of diamond jewellery and she decided to follow her passion and acquired a diploma in jewellery design from JK institute of jewellery design, Mumbai.
Today Nileena has designed many exquisite pieces with some of these works of art highly appreciated amongst their customers. Design is where science and art break even. And armed with an in depth knowledge of both, her designs are par excellence. Her design approach is simple. “It is important to me that every design reflects the mood of today, and that it not only transcends fashion, but continues to be unique and carry an aura of mystique,” states Nileena.

The Adona designers work with customers individually and create exquisite designs, which are then handcrafted to perfection to meet high quality standards. The Adona Mould makers, Setters, Polishers, an in-house gemmologist amalgamated with a rigorous series of inspections ensure exceptional quality work of art.
